The Part of Fortune formula depends on whether you were born during the day or at night. For day charts (Sun above the horizon): Ascendant + Moon - Sun. For night charts (Sun below the horizon): Ascendant + Sun - Moon. This is the reverse of the Lot of Spirit formula, which swaps the luminaries.
