Planetary positions are computed using NASA's ANISE toolkit with arc-second precision. Sun and Moon sign calculations are accurate to fractions of a degree. The Rising sign depends on birth time accuracy: if your birth time is off by a few minutes, the degree may shift, but the sign usually stays the same unless you were born when the Ascendant was crossing a sign boundary.
