Wei, meaning 'the Tail,' is the seventeenth Chinese sieu, corresponding to the tail stars of Scorpius (including lambda Scorpii/Shaula). Ruled by Mars, this mansion represents the tail of the Azure Dragon, the whipping, powerful terminus that strikes with force.

The tail is the dragon's weapon, and Wei carries a martial, kinetic energy that drives things to completion with decisive force.

Wei belongs to the Azure Dragon palace, representing the final, most active portion of the dragon's body. Mars's rulership amplifies the tail's striking power. Where Sin (the Heart) represented the dragon's vital center, Wei represents its capacity for decisive, outward-directed action.
