Domicile

Domicile (also called rulership) is the highest form of essential dignity. When a planet is in the sign it rules, it is like being in your own house with your own furniture, your own kitchen, and your own rules, everything works the way you want it to. Mars in Aries, Venus in Taurus, Jupiter in Sagittarius: these planets express themselves naturally, powerfully, and without compromise. A planet in domicile does not need to adjust or negotiate. It has complete authority over its environment, giving it the strongest possible score (+5) in the essential dignity system. This is the gold standard of planetary strength.
