Retrograde Shadow

Technique

When a planet goes retrograde, it doesn't just suddenly reverse. It travels through a specific stretch of the zodiac three times: once forward (the pre-shadow), then backward (the retrograde itself), then forward again (the post-shadow). Imagine driving from Town A to Town B, realizing you forgot something, driving back to Town A, then heading to Town B again, you cover the same road three times. During the pre-shadow, you get a preview of themes that will intensify during the retrograde. During the post-shadow, you integrate those lessons and move forward for good. This is why retrograde effects don't start and stop abruptly on the official dates, they build gradually and linger afterward.
